Monique Madan, Head of Financial Life Strategies at UPotential, has been working in the financial services industry for over 15 years and has acquired a unique and sought-after perspective on personal financial planning. Generations have used the $1,000,000 dollar mark as a guide-post to feeling wealthy. While membership in the “Two Comma Club” has its privileges, the dollar amount alone does not tell the whole story.

To some, a million dollars will translate into a very comfortable retirement with funds left over to bequeath to the next generation. To others, a million dollars is grossly insufficient.
